Custom Action Question...

I created a custom action that deletes emails with a
specific attachment name. The problem I am having is
when I mark it as read and move it to the deleted items
folder, the new mail envelope is still in my taskbar.
What do I have to do in order to get the new mail
envelope to be removed?
