CUSL2-C POST Problem

My older P3 800 with CUSL2-C board hangs right after POST with error
message "Bad Image". Press any key, however, will continue booting to
Windows XP. The halt function is disabled in the Bios. Reflushed with
latest bios available but to no avail. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

Ideas...:
- Set BIOS values to default before and after flashing?
- Cleared CMOS?
- Changed the BIOS battery?
- Checked the HDD?
