cursor jumps off page

I have been having problems with my cursor just jumping off the page at any
moment. Doesn't matter what I am using, email , word, etc. it just jumps
into the task area at the bottom of my screen. Help - this is soooo
annyoying! I have replaced my keyboard and my mouse and that hasn't helped.

What brand are you using?
 
Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse now. Was using the Dell keyboard and
mouse that came with my computer.

Did you ever figure out your problem? Mine, too, is driving me out of my
mind! Even as I write my cursor is flying all over the place. It's
attracted to the top right and lower left of the screen! It just floats or
flies and then I can't get it back. I fell like smashing it. I bought a new
Microsoft Wireless Optical mouse to replace my other one. Thought the old
one was the problem, obviously not.

I'm going to write another post. Please let me know so we can go crazy
together! LOL

I think I got it! Go to control panel, open mouse folder, click on pointer
options and UNCHECK "Enhance pointer precision". It's working for me so far.

I am haveing the same problem and your fix didn't work. Any other ideas? It
is driving me nuts.
 
Actually, mine's doing it again. It seemed to work for a while. ????
Please let me know if you figure it out. I'll keep looking for a fix, too.

As an FYI, mine only does it when I am using a mouse plugged into any of my
USB ports. If my laptop is in its docking station I don't have a problem.
In any event, I think I have a solution (maybe). I had IT order me a new
laptop. I will let you know if that works.

Having same problem, using Microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse. Problem
has bee ongoing for about six months. I have tried all the things listed,
like you all, to no avail. Have had two of my techs working on it also and
they are stumped. Have any of you solved it yet???????????
