Cursor is Resizing Cells

My cursor is resizing the cells when I move anywhere on the page. I am
unable to get to the toolbar. I am forced to re-start the program when this
happens.

Is it actually resizing the cells, or is it rather exoanding/contracting the
selected range? Iow if you start with your cursor on A1, and you move to
G10, does it select the range from A1:G10. If you then move your cursor to
D4, does the selection shringk to A1:D4? If so, slap your mouse wheel quite
hard, and it should dtop
