Curson speed?

This may not be a specific WinXP question, but I have WinXP and recently had
to have the hard drive formatted, etc., etc. Anyhow, now I'm noticing
that when I type, the cursor/letters/backspace key, etc. won't move as
quickly as before. How can I change this? I've looked up in help, and find
increasing mouse speed and/or rate of cursor blinking, but neither describes
my problem. TIA for any help with this.

These settings can be modified in Control Panel under Keyboard

Thanks, I wouldn't have known to look there. But, I just looked and it
seems to be only for the character repeat rate. I'm referring to just
regular typing and/or backspace, things like that.

Maybe see if you have the latest drivers for your video card?
