CurrentUser() or fOSUserName()

i am useing thse function in quieres works great but once i try to use the
same quires in my DAP"S i get the following error.

"undefined function'currentuser' in expression

is there anyway to get this function or one simaler to work on my DAP. i am
trying to use these function to verify (by user id) who has access to
infomration on my DB which is being displayed with data access pages.

I found out that the CurrentUser() and fOSUserName() are not supported in the
DAP. Is there some simalur functions(that grabs the user id from log on) that
may be supported in DAP?
