Hi
I seen a computer programme on TV that designed a currency converter and
linked it to a website that automatically updated it each time it was
opened. Problem is I can't remember how to do it

Anyone help?

TIA
Steve

Hi Steve
To set up a currency converter you would first need to import the dat
from the web, to do this select the Data menu, Import external Data
New Web Query.
You will then be presented with a Web Browser, in the Address bar ente
the following address :-
http://www.bloomberg.com/markets/currencies/fxc.html
Once this page has loaded then select the arrow next to the data yo
require, which will the turn to a tick. When you have all the data yo
need select Import.
You will then be asked where you wish to place the data, thats up t
you.
I'll leave you to decide how to use the data once it is imported.

Hope this helps

Or if all you want is a currency converter without Excel
http://www.2globalmart.com/currency-converter.html
and you'll probably find similar converters somewhere on Bloomberg
which was brought to your attention and on major international banking sites.

A few more flavors of the same at the bottom of my stocks.htm webpage.
