how do i change the dollar sign to pound sign in access
Two ways:
One uses the Windows Control Panel... Regional and Language settings.
Choose an English (UK) setting, or just change the Currency field if
you don't want dates to reverse to dd/mm/yyyy or other changes. Note
that this will change currency settings in ALL Windows apps, not just
Access!
Or, for a single database or even a single field, don't use Currency
format - roll your own:
"£#,##0.00"
in the Format property. The pound-sign character can be entered using
the Character Map accessory (usually in the Start... All Programs...
Accessory... System folder in Windows), or by holding down the Alt key
and typing 0163 using the numeric keypad.
