Curious Question on File Access

Joe

I have two computers networked together. Both are running WindowsXP,
one of which has SP2 installed.

The one with SP2 has a Corel Draw File that I want to modify with
Corel Draw v9 on the other computer.

In the past I have had no problems accessing files through the
network. As far as I know all settings are to grant permission to
modify files.

When in CorelDraw, I can open the file and work on it. When I go to
save it, I get a message that says I don't have permission to write to
this file, see my system adminstrator. So I save the file to My
Documents and close the program.

I can then simply copy the file from My Documents to the folder where
I wanted to save it first with no problems or messages.

Why can't I save it directly from CorelDraw?

The computer containing the folder to be saved has ZoneAlarm v4.5. But
this existed before, so I don't know what it can be doing.

Any suggestions or areas to look would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,

Joe

It is much easier to create and save the file in the My Document location (
though I have had the same issue (meaning the NT/Authority, the system
administrator will not allow you to override the file save to the location
you wish to use, you can try changing the system policies in your
administrative tools in the control panel to resolve this problem).
