Ctrl+End

I have a little problem and I thought someone might be able to shed some
light. I am using Excel 2003 and I am trying to utlize Ctrl+End which should
bring me to the lowest, most right active cell within the worksheet. For
example, the lowest most active cell is X554 but when I press CTRL+END it
goes to X558. No matter what I do, deleted all the rows below the last one,
cleared the contents, viewed the hidden text, etc. I can not get the CTRL+END
to go to X554 consistently. I got it to work once but was not able to do it
again and I don't know what I could have done right that I can recreate. No
so much a priority as much as it is frustrating that I can't figure it out:)

Any assistance would be appreciated??

Stephanie,

You're exactly right -- you have to save the file. Just the way it is.
Debra has that in step 4.

Don'cha wish Excel would just keep the used range updated? :)
