ctrl-alt-delete interface

I have XP SP2. When pressing ctrl-alt-delete istread of getting "Windows Task
Manager", i get "Windows Security" (the win2000 interface where you can
choose Lock Computer\Log Off\Change Password etc...)
Another, yet seamingly connected issue: The Start\Turn Off has also changed
to the old win2000 Start\Shutdown interface
Further still (and perhaps a different issue): when booting, windows
automaticaly logs to Administrator and not to my user. When I switch to my
user and try to delete the Administrator user, it doesn't appear at all under
Control Panel\User Accounts.
Please help me on these 3 issues,
Thanks
Jonathan

Your first 2 problems refer to "Welcome Screen". Your Welcome Screen is
turned off. To make it on:

1. Click Start - Control Panel - open User Accounts
2. Click "Change the way Users Log on or Off.
3. Make a check mark on "Use the Welcome Screen".

This will change the Ctrl+Alt+Del behavior default to Task Manager and Shut
Down dialog box to XP Style.

For your third problem,

1. click Start - Run - type CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
2. From the list select the user you want to Auto login with uncheck the
option "User must enter a password to use the computer".
3. Apply the changes and restart your computer to see if it works.

Last but not the least. You can not delete the Administrator account and you
shouldn't try it. The administrator account will automatically get hidden
when you log in to your settings. You can only view administrator account in
Control Panel - User Accounts while running Windows in Safe Mode.

Hope this help, let us know!
