Crytal Reports with VS 2003

Is there a patch I have to apply to get Crystal Reports to work correctly?

Trying to hook up to a local SQL 2000 database, I get:

Exception Details: CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.LogOnException:
Logon failed.
