crypted file accsess

Hi i have a problem, i promised a friend i would save
some documents from his "my documents" folder after he
had a big crash.

When i tried to simply copy the folder i noticed tha it
was encrypted, he gave me his password and everything but
since i cant login using his account (his wondows
installation is f***ed i cant get accsess.

How do i resolve this problem?

Hi,

The way to copy the contents of this folder and other things is to pu
his hard disk into a machine with WinXP installed on (as a slave disk
and log onto as administrator. Then, you can appropriate everything o
his disk in order to copy it. If the files are encrypted, you must hav
the password to decrypt it anymore. Thats all

If the data is encrypted, a lot more than a password is needed.
If all that the OP has is the password, and the data is encrypted,
consider the data gone forever.
