Crosstab Query query!

Hi

Wasting loads of time trying to sort my query in Access 2000 - can anyone
please help.

I need to produce a Crosstab Query that shows sales of a product group by
account name for a single month with also a Year to date value. The query
results are then exported to Excel for ease of reporting.

Relevant fields are:

[AccountName], [ProductGroup], [SalesValue], [Month], [Year] (these are
number fields and not Date).

Qry Layout req: [AccountName] = Row Heading, [ProductGroup] = Column
Heading, [SalesValue] =Sum.

I have produced two query's that extract this data separately (using qry
parameters to select month/year etc) but I need this data to appear in the
same result.

I hope I have given enough info but if not please give me a shout.

Thanks in advance.

If you don't need to have the 2 values as separate fields
in Excel, you can concatenate them in the "Value" column.

I'm doing this for a demand planning query and it works
well. However, I need 2 separate values, except Crosstab
queries only allow 1 value. Tried creating 2 different x-
tab queries, but the dynamic creation of new columns poses
problems.

If anyone out there has a suggestion, please email me.

Thanks,
Kris

I was hoping for 2 values in separate fields in order that the data could
still be manipulated in Excel by others.

Thanks for idea of concatenation though, not entirely sure what it is but
will look into it.
