Crosstab Query - Column headings

G

Guest

I'm trying to duplicate an Excel spreadsheet using a crosstab query in Access
2002. The data consists of Material Descriptions each having an ID. The user
wants to see both of these on 2 different rows. The value is the same for
both.
Example: Material Description = DMT
Material ID = 1008

Material: DMT
1008
Value: .67
How do I get 2 column headings?

Thanks!

You will have to concatenate the 2 values together using the Pivot
clause:
TRANSFORM ...
etc.
PIVOT [Material Description] & " " & [Material ID]

Don't include the column [Material ID] in the SELECT clause. The
Material Description & Material ID will be sorted left to right.
