Hi all,

I have connected my computer to another both with xp through a corssover
cable and it worked fine.

Now I am trying to connect my computer to my laptop same way exactly, I have
both computers in the same workgroup and are both connected but I just can't
get one to see the other.

Would appreciate a quick answer from anyone thats done this before,

Thanks

Click Start | Run | type \\IP Address of the other computer.

If this works, and you are unable to see the other computer in network
places, enable the browser service & enable netbios over tcp/ip.

If you are unable to access the other computer using IP address, disable the
firewalls
