crossing words out

I want to create a list of tasks and then cross out each one as I finish it.
How do I get Word to put a line through my accomplished tasks?

By highlighting the word(s), click "Format", "Font", check the
"Strikethrough" option, then click "OK". If you use this feature and want
it handy, try this:

1. Right-click your Toolbar area at the top and select "Customize".
2. Click the "Commands" TAB.
3. Select the "Format" category to the left.
4. Scroll down until you find the "Strikethrough" command.
5. Click and drag the command up to an existing toolbar (probably next to
the "U") and release. As you drag the icon you will see a box with an "X" in
it. This means you CAN'T drop it here. When the box changes to a "+", it
means you CAN drop it here.

Have Fun!
