cross-references, bookmarks, and hyperlinks

I want to move down to another part of my document by clicking on a piece of
text. I know how to do this with bookmarks, hyperlinks & cross-references.

But I don't understand the difference between hyperlinks & cross-references.

I want to be able to 'Return' to the original part of the document after
reading the secondary text. Is there anything like a 'Return' command, or do
I have to create another hyperlink.

A cross-reference can be set up to be a hyperlink (and is by default) - it's
up to you.

If you hyperlink somewhere, in your document or elsewhere, the browser back
command should return you where you were - the normal keyboard shortcut for
this is Alt+Left Arrow
