Cross-reference screentips

Hello,

Is there a way that I can customise the screentip for a cross-reference in
Word 2000 (the default is "Current Document"). I want a method of providing a
page number hyperlink in a document that includes a customised screentip.

All suggestions gratefully appreciated.

Insert the cross-reference using Insert > Hyperlink. Select 'Place in this
document' from the 'Link to' list. Click 'Screen tip' to enter your screen
tip text.

Thanks for your response, I should have said in my original message that I
want the page number displayed which is why I was using the cross-reference.
I was having trouble customising the screentip on the Cross-reference but
have since found that if I insert the cross-reference and do not insert it as
a hyperlink, I can then add a hyperlink to the cross-reference using the
standard method and this allows me to customise my screentip!

Thanks again,
