Hi,
People often say that the .NET Framework is cross-platform. Does this mean
linux and macOS?

Some folks have taken the ECMA specifications for .NET and ported it to
Linux and FreeBSD.

These versions are not supported by Microsoft.

By cross-platform, MS means any of the Windows Server systems, Windows 98,
Windows ME, Windows CE, and Pocket PC. I'm not aware of a port to macOS...
