Cross over network Cable

Got a cross over network cable plugged into 2 PC's need
to move the information from one PC to the next how do I
do it?
As detailed as possible please
 
Go into network places and see if you can see the other
computer. They should have names you would recognise. If
you can see the other one then all you need to do is share
the folders where the files to be moved are located.

If you can't see the other computer you may need to
temporary turn your firewall off

If you still can't se the other computer you may need to
run the network wizard
