Crop screen shot in Outlook

Hi,
I'm not quite sure if this question should be posted here on in the word
section so apologies if anyone feels this is in the wrong place.
When I take a screenshot, paste to word & crop in word then paste into an
email the email that is received shows the whole screenshot rather than the
crop version that I attached.
It's driving me up the wall, I think this is because the screenshot is still
saved as the whole picture but I don't know how to fix it.
Thanks!

I don't think Word doesn't actually crops the image but instead changes the visible portion. You'd be better off using an actual image tool, such as the Microsoft Picture Manager that comes with Office 2003.

When you press the "Compress Pictures" button on the Picture Toolbar you can
actually delete the rest of the picture otherwise it will indeed just hide
the cropped section.

Tips of the month:
-FREE tool; QuickMail. Create new Outlook items anywhere from within Windows
-Properly back-up and restore your Outlook data
