Critical Update...Media Player Script Commands (KB828026)

I have downloaded and installed this update 4 times now. It is listed in
Control Panel>Add and Remove Programs>Hotfixes as being installed. In
Windows Update>Installation History it is shown as being successfully
installed on each of 4 dates.

I am still receiving notices for this update and in Windows Update when I
scan for downloads, 828026 still shows up in the Critical Update list.

How can I tell Windows Update that I've already got this one?

Maybe a shot in the dark but do you have Cryptology service disabled? If so,
set it to automatic and attempt the dl one more time.
 
Sometimes you have to uninstall the update then reinstall it to eliminate this
problem.
