I've gotten a couple of critical errors lately, and here is what the "Error
signature" says :

BCCode : a BCP1 : 60D8D980 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001
BCP4 : 804F50B0 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1

Anyone know what this means?

I see three posts from you from 10/7, 10/9, and today. None of your posts
are being deleted, you need to download more headers. But I don't see any
answers anyways. I think you need to provide more info. The app causing the
error and what does this error do to the computer?(ie freezes, reboots,
etc...)

Hi there,
BCCode : a BCP1 : 60D8D980 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001
BCP4 : 804F50B0 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 1_0 Product : 256_1

Do you actually believe they mean anything? They are probably encrypted
codes for any pirated Microsoft applications on your system. It's obvious
what the bottom contains, your Windows version, don't be suprised if the
rest was all randomly generated!

Nick.

That's pretty funny, actually.

It sure looks like Windows knows what happened, though... doesn't it?

I guess I'm just gonna endure the critical errors. Long live Windows!

Ignore the nonsense about piracy spouted by this Nick person. However,
you don't give enough information to generate a useful answer, so here
are some suggestions: 1) Look in Event Viewer (Control
Panel>Administrative Tools>Event Viewer) for clues. 2) Does this happen
when you're running a particular program? Which one? 3) Look in Device
Manager (Control Panel>System>Hardware tab) for yellow-flagged devices
or clues. 4) Does this happen regularly at the same time/action or
randomly? If regularly, what is running at that moment? Check with Task
Manager if it isn't obvious. If randomly, then start hardware
diagnosis, beginning with RAM test (I like Memtest86 best) and then
continuing with hard drive tests, motherboard tests. Post back with
details after you've done some troubleshooting.

HTH,

Malke
