I recently re-formatted my HD so had to re-install my sound drivers for my
Creative SB PCI 128 (4.1) sound card. Sound is coming out the first output
fine but the second (rear) output is producing no sound. The annoying thing
is that there are no errors - it just simply doesn't work.

I've did a full install of the original drivers off the accompanying CD and
downloaded updated drivers from Creative. Neither have made any difference.

Any ideas?

Have you selected the audio system speaker setup from either the Creative
setup that often comes with Creative products, or (XP) in Control Panel -
Sounds and Audio Devices - Speaker Selection - Advanced button ...
