Creating similar to renew function

I creating a database for school project which is for a letting agency and I
do not have any idea what functions I should use so it will be assign it to a
button to perform the function to update the contract signed to todays date
and contract expires to a year later date.

btw I do not know any knowledge in VB except creating time with it.
 
It wouldn't be fair to you or your classmates if we gave you the answers.

However, I will say that you shouldn't need any VBA to do what you want. To
update existing data, use an update query.

Could someone email me how to do this, designing similar to him but a
library database.
