Creating mailing labels in XP

Hey. I have Windows 2000 at work and am able to create
mailing labels, using word and excel and merging the two.
I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to create this same
type of mailing labels using Windows XP, which I use for
my home office.

sure, as soon as you go buy Office and install it. You can't do it from
within XP itself. just like you can't do it from within 2000 itself.

I have found Avery DesignPro to be extremely useful for all sorts of labels.
The basic app. is free, but there is a more versatile version available at a
fee. You can get it at www.avery.com. There is also a new version of the Avery
Wizard for Word 2002(XP).

Sure, just buy and install WORD and EXCEL (buy OFFICE it's
less expensive than buying individual apps.)

You can do it exactly the same way in Windows XP. But, just as
with Windows 2000, you need to have copies of Word and Excel
installed to do so.

If you thought that Word and Excel came with either Windows 2000
or Windows XP, that's not correct. They are separate programs
available to be bought either individually or as part of
Microsoft Office.
