Creating "Login" & "Password" Authorization

I would like to create "Login" &b "Password" fields in FP 2003 that will only
allow users access to certain pages. Can someone please tell me how to do
that?

You could create a new sub web and then ask your web host to password
protect it. Then just put those pages in that sub web. Or you could use
server-side scripting and a database to do this. See

What I want to do is have my site visitors to register to access the page by
establishing a "username" and "password". Is there any software out there
that can do that? Thanks.

Requires server side scripting (asp,asp.NET, PHP, Perl/CGI) and database
(mySQL, Access, MS SQL server), which programs depend on what your host
will support.

For a Unix server, look at the FrontPage self registration template
(ONLY for Unix) in conjunction with a subweb with unique permissions -
but be aware that any John Doe can register as Mickey Mouse and gain
access.
