Creating Form - Field Display Size

When creating a form is there a way that the deafult field size (on the form)
created would allow for the number of characters you have specified in the
table to be used? In other words I have a firstname field of 10 characters
but when I initially create the form the textbox is not large enough to
display all the characters unless I manually stretch it.

No, there are too many variables. Font size and weight, screen resolution,
etc. I have wished for the same thing.
