Creating distribution lists from an email message

I followed the step by step instructions from Microsoft but after Step 6
(pasting the names from the email into the "Member" box, Outlook tells me
that it doesn't recognize any of the email addresses. It sees names only as
labels and not the email addresses. I'm confused because Microsoft's "how
to" specifically states that you don't have to add each email address to your
contacts before creating the distribution list. Didnt work for me.

Any suggestions or reasons why it didn't work? I can see the email
addresses in parentheticals when I copy, but it only pastes the names!

From what part of the incoming message are you taking the addresses?
