nobody can tell you in one newsgroup thread how to build an entire database
from nothing. this forum is a good place to answer specific questions as you
build a database yourself. if you want to throw something together without
really learning Access, which requires a certain commitment of time and
effort, then you might try using the database wizard to create a basic
functional database for you.

At Microsoft's Office Online, http://office.microsoft.com, you will find
links to tutorials on Microsoft Access, and you'll also find links to
templates for database applications for current and some past versions of
Access -- one of these may be helpful. You will also find MVP Crystal Long's
"Access Basics" tutorials that have been reported to be very helpful at
http://www.accessmvp.com/Strive4Peace/Index.htm. That's a good start on
your learning journey about Microsoft Access.

If I am able to extract one item from your request that is suitable for a
newsgroup response, it would be "can autocomplete or suggest details after
just typing the surname or customer No etc,....". If you have the detail
information you want to display in a table (or multiple tables you access
via a query), you can drop a Combo Box on your Form (from the ToolBox which
has a default location on the side of the screen next to your design view of
the Form), and if the "magic wand" is active, you will be presented with the
Combo Box Wizard which will lead you through creating the Combo Box... one
of the options does exactly what you want... populates the Form, based on
the item you select in the Combo Box.
