Creating an Annotated Bibliography

I need to create an annotated bibliography, and I was manually putting each
annotation in under each citation. The only problem with that is when I opt
to Update Bibliography and Citations, Word wipes out all my annotations. Is
there anyway I can override this or input my annotations in a way that would
disallow Word to delete them when I update?

Hi Staple,

Word 2007's bibiliography function uses a field to generate the output. When you update the field the content (of the bibliography)
is replaced.

You can use the bibilography choice of 'convert to static text' and then annotate it.
