Creating an Add-in to Insert Graphics

YESTERDAY I POSTED THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE:

I am using PowerPoint 2000. I need to create a template
that can be used fairly intuitively by others - as sort of
an orderform for display items. The graphics are custom
designed by an outside vendor and exist outside of the
Clipart Gallery (on our Network Server).

Ultimately I would like to have several "Click to add
Pictures" placeholders on this template and each
placeholder would be locked into a certain size. By
clicking on these placeholders they should navigate to the
files where the custom graphics are stored - not the
Clipart Gallery - select their preferred picture and have
it insert into the placeholder.

Is this doable? Thanks for your help.

You can't add placeholders as Sonia's mentioned; you
could do something akin to this with an add-in, however.
For example, the user could click a button on a toolbar
that calls up a dialog where they choose the graphic, then
inserts it into a predefined space on the current slide.

The add-in would need to be installed on each user's
computer for this to work, and the graphics would need to
be there too, or on a commonly available network server.

NEW QUESTIONS:

Is there an add-in already created that will provide this
function? If so, where can I access it or purchase it
from?

If not, how would I go about creating this? I have no
prior experience with visual basic or creating add-ins.

Actually before I posted the message below I had looked
for my original post. That's how I was able to include
the info below and at that time the only answers I
received were from 'Sonia' - a brief it can't be done
statement -- and 'Steve's message noted below. Since my
inquiry and issue had changed, I thought It would be best
to submit a new posting.

Since this submission Steve has responded again and gave
me his direct contact info. Hopefully the issue will be
resolved, but if any other advice is available I'd be more
than happy to listen.

I already have an add-in that does this and I could copy it and sell
it to you just as fast as Steve could write it from scratch (g).
