Creating an accde file in MS Access 2007

When trying to create an accde file, I keep getting the following messge:

'You cannot create a XX ADE or MDE file from a database saved in the XX 2000
format. Convert rhe database to the current version of XX. Then creat the
ADE or MDE file.

I am using MS Access 2007, not 2000 as the message suggests.
I have saved the file as a 2007 file.
I have compacted the database.
I have compiled the code and do not receive any error messages.
I can't find anything about this anywhere.

Has anybody else encountered this problem and can anyone provide help on how
to solve it.

Hi,
looks like your mdb in 2000 format, not 2002-2003. try to CONVERT your mdb
to 2002-2003 format and then try again. See also:
