Creating a timetable

Hi there. Recently, a .vcs file was sent to me that had the complete schedule
for the World Cup 2006 and which you simply imported into your own calendar.
Brilliant! Every soccer match for the next month sat alongside my own
appointments. Now, I work in a university and I thought this would be a great
way of creating timetables for the forthcoming academic year: simply create a
calendar, enter all the classes for the year and their venue, export it as a
..vcs file and then make the file available so that students could import the
whole timetable into their own Outlook calendars. However, I have tried this
with no success on Outlook 2003. I can export individual appointments, but
this is a long way from the complete schedule that I envisaged. Can I do this
in Outlook 2003 or do have to create the thing in Notepad (not looking
forward to this)? Could it be that the calendar was compiled in the beta
Outlook 2007 and then saved as a .vcs file?

Outlook 2007 is the first version of Outlook to be able to export bulk ..ics files. You do it through the Send Calendar function.
