Creating a subform

I have a detailed question that is really stumping me. I have two tables
(LSV-2472 and Customers). I am trying to create a form for the LSV-2472 that
shows the serial numbers order numbers from the LSV-2472 table. I also want
the customers info from the Customers table in the same form. I have that
done but I can't get the customer Information to change when I select a new
LSV-2472 serial number. Each LSV-2472 Serial Number has a different customer
assigned to it and I want to be able to select which LSV-2472 serial number I
want and be able to bring up all the customer information on it.

Thanks for any response any help would be appreciated.

Create a form that displays your "LSV-2472" data. Create a form that
displays your Customer data. Open the main form ("LSV-2472") in design
mode. Use the toolbar to add a subform.

When prompted, use the form you created for Customer. Be sure to have the
two connected by the common ID field. You do have a common field, right?
