Creating a second column in a table

I've converted block of text to a single column with 50 rows. Each row now
has a movie title and year the movie was released, a comma, and the
director's name.

Is there a way to split the table into two colums of 50 rows, with the split
occurring at the comma, so that the director's name is in a column separate
from the movie title? (I want to be able to sort by director name).

For those curious, the list of movies is from a new DVD, ESSENTIAL ART
HOUSE: 50 YEARS OF JANUS FILMS.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Table | Convert | Text to Table; Separate at <comma>

Thanks, Suzanne. However, this doesn't work because I've already converted
the text to a table. Still, gave it a shot anyway and all it does is nest
blank cell(s) into the first row of the table. The rest of the rows are
pushed down.

Any other ideas?

Oh, sorry.

Table | Convert | Table to Text.

Then Table | Convert | Text to Table.

First use Table > Convert > Table to Text to change the table into
plain text. Then select the same text and use Table > Convert > Text
to Table to convert it to a table, but this time choose the comma as
the separator.

Thanks very much, Suzanne. Didn't even think to convert back again, then
choose a second delimiter.
