Hi everybody!
I am subscribing to a newsletter that I am really like.
Now, I would like to create a rule in outlook that automatically deletes the
old read newsletters after say, one day.
So, if I get a the newsletter, I can read it, and then after 1 day it is
automatically deleted.
Does anybody know how to do this?
I have outlook 2002 SP3, and the sender and heading of the newsletter is
always the same (except that the date changes in the subject line....)

Regards,

Mattias

Outlook rules only act on new received mail, not mail already received.

So there is no way to automatically delete email as I have suggested?

Not automatically - you have manual options such as selecting all and
pressing delete.

After furious head scratching, bluetone asked:

You could use a rule to put the newsletters in a specific folder and then set that folder's autoarchive setting to delete items older than 1 day.
