Creating a price list (report)

I have posted this question twice already, but it still hasn't shown up, so
here goes again! - (sorry if you have read it already)

I have imported data from "Navicat MySQL", from which I would like to create
a categorised price list.

Simple, I hear you say, but not so.

The data categories I am using are:
Category
Sub Category
RefNumber
Range
Product
Size/Length
2007 UK Price
Active (true / false)

I created a query, so that only the true (available) products were listed.
From this I tried to create the price list using the report wizard. When I
get to the part to categorise the report, Category, Sub Category and Size /
Length are not options.

Does anyone know why this is and what I can do about it?

Thanks

You should be able to create your sorting/grouping from the design view of
your report. If you aren't able to select a field in the sorting and
grouping dialog, it may be because the data type of the field is Memo.

"It may be because the data type of the field is Memo."

This was the answer, thank you, the import defaulted to memo, forgot to
check that.

Another problem I am getting now, is that the sub category is only changing
everytime the category changes. Therefore all products within each main
category are displayed under the first subcategory.

I have both headings placed within the "category header". The same happens
when I create a "subcategory header".

Also, when entering print preview, I am asked to enter a parameter value for
the subcategory. I cannot find anything that should prompt this.

Sorry for all the questions, but I am having a headache with something which
should be so straightforward.

What it is this group, and why is it appearing on my computer?

Don't worry, I recreated the report and it works a treat now.

And yes... it was simple this time
