Creating A Meeting in Outlook Calendar

I want to create a meeting in Outlook Calendar and send out meeting notices
to several receipients who will then accept or decline the invitation. I
want to do with all through MS Access using VBA.

In the VBA editor, add a reference to the 'Microsoft Outlook xx.x Object
Library' (where xx.x is the version, e.g. 12.0)

From there, the hard part is learning what you can do. For example:

I have looked at this and I can't find what I'm looking for. I have created
several applications using email. What I want to do is use the calendar. I
want to set up a meeting and send out a meeting notice that will post on a
recipients calendar. Do you know how to do that?

You might want to take a look at the code at

One note, I just pasted some of the code into a module and found several
syntax and coding errors. It seems that no one tested the code before putting
it up on the web. The basics will work with a little debugging.
