Creating a installer

Hi all.

In the VS.Net there is a way to create a MSI Installer (using the Setup
project).

I'd like to create a MSI installer pragmatically, maybe using a script file
or calling some specific api.

Any suggestions?
Any other group I should post this question?

You could look at Wix [1] or the MSI task in nAnt [2].

Based on my knowledge, the setup project in vs.net 2003 will generate a msi
package.

Since I am not familar with MSI, we have special group for msi issue, if
you still have any concern, you may try to post here so that other msi
expert in that group will have more idea on your question.

microsoft.public.platformsdk.msi
Also here are some groups for vsnet setup issue.
microsoft.public.vstudio.setup
microsoft.public.vsnet.setup
