creatimg a compressed (zipped) folder

I have windows XP pro and my C drive is NTFS. It says that
i should be able to create a compredded (zipped) folder.
but the option does not apprear under the file menu.

Any ideas?
 
Try right clicking the file or folder that you want to zip and select "Send
To".
