Created Date

Hello,

I found a post on how to get the created date in a cell, but I would like to
have date created in my footer. Can this be put in the footer some how?

P.S. This is a template that already has Macros from our Financial System, so
I don't think I can add or change anything in the Macros. Can the created
date be put at the bottom with out using a Macro?

Certainly. Use File>Page Setup>Header/Footer>Custom Footer... To insert the
date, click on the calendar icon (it's the one with the 7 on it).

Without VBA you cannot place the "Created Date" into a footer or header.
