Hello,

I visited the link above and cannot find a solution to custom templates not
applying themselves to a presentation. The custom templates appear in the
"Apply Design Template", the appear in the template file folder when I click
on "browse " from there, but simply do not appear on the slide presentation.
The computer even thinks (hour glass icon) for a moment and acts like it is
going to apply what I asked it to, but like so many things, it is promising,
but no delivery!

Can you help?

This might be because the template's not correctly constructed. For example, if
it contains slides with the desired formatting but not slide masters, then
applying it won't appear to do much.

Choose File, Open and browse to where you've stored your template (POT) file.
Open it.
Choose View, Master, Slide Master or Title Master.

Does the slide you see look like the formatting you want for your master? If
not, chances are the template's had formatting applied to slides but not slide
masters, as would be necessary.
