create text box alongside last column of table for two rows

What is the optimum method of creating text fields to the right of the last
table column when you only require 3 or 4 in a table of 30 rows?
 
Text form fields? It might be simplest to add an extra column and put them
in that - either manually or by macro.

You may want to simply create another column in the table. Just select the
last column, right click and select insert column.
