create search form

OK...

I have a Search form designed with a text box in the header and a subform
built in the details section (or the search returns). I want entries in the
text box to return every match to the text entered (regardless if user entry
is text or numeric) when the Search button is pressed.

The form design includes: unbound text box, search button, reset button, and
a sub form (called, 'search results'). All of the info being searched is
contained in one convenient table - already tied to the form. I have tried
different suggestions for code, but none seem to work.... who can help?

I've only been at this for about 2 months, so be thorough... be explicit...
but be gentle.....!
