always get a delivery and read reciept for without having to go in and
check the box everytime?

Yes. Use the "sent to people or distribution list" or "with specific words
in the recipient's address" condition.

Sure. Use the "notify me when it is read" or "notify me when it is
delivered" actions.

Well- I know that I can do that everytime I send them as message- Can I
automate this so that I don't have to pull down the options bar everytime I
send this person an email? in other words- is there somewhere i can set
parameters for this person?

Brian just told you how, Chris. "Notify me when read" and "notify me when
delivered" are both options for actions a rule should take after sending a
message. You didn't mention which version of Word you use, but going on my
2003, go to Tools, Rules & Alerts, select New Rule, select Start from a Blank
Rule, select Check Messages After Sending, then take it from there.

You asked for a rule. I told you which conditions and actions to use in
that rule. How does that not satisfy your request?
