As i got no answer up to now i'm posting again looking forward...:)

I've only one physical disk with actually two partition (FAT 32) and will
add some more logical disks. And i would like to prevent to reinstall and
setup all my programs, sincerly i'm afraid of this amount of work .

Does anybody know a freeware for creating new partitions meanwhile the
system (Windows 98 SE) continues running?

I already downloaded Partitionmaker 7.0, but the demo does not execute any
action nor the division of free space.

Thanks in advance!

Best,

Bernd

Most likely, no. I don't think you can expect something like this
without at least rebooting the OS.

FIPS (http://www.igd.fhg.de/~aschaefe/fips/) used to work in the past on
plain FAT(16) partitions. Not sure if it supports FAT32.
