create folder on c drive

I would like to find out how to create a folder on the hard c/drive, not in
my documents. I need to do so to dowload software/driver for a new hp printer

Open My Computer (Start > My Computer).
Double-click on the icon for your C: drive.
Right-click on a blank space in the window.
From the context menu that opens, select New > Folder.
