Any suggestions on how to create a desk top icon to
launch Outlook with a mouse click, instead of sourcing
through the program list? Thanks.

you can create a desktop icon (shortcut) to Outlook the same as you would
for any application...find the exe file, right-click and drag to the desktop
and select "create shortcut" - although many versions of outlook
automatically drop an icon on the desktop...

Just find the icon in the prgram list, right click it, and select "send to
desktop (create shortcut)"

Use this for bringing up the calendar

"C:\ProgramFiles\MicrosoftOffice\OFFICE11\OUTLOOK.EXE"/selectoutlook:calendar
